2004 MG TF

I need to sell this project due to Health issues.

This is a 2004 80th anniversary black with black interior/ red Alcantara seats. Has the bigger front brakes and the 160 wheels.I bought it with a broken stepspeed. I took out the engine and trans and bought a replacement stepspeed and a lot of parts.

There was no sign of head problems but I decided to take the head off and found it had a steel gasket andvthatbthe liners had slipped a bit. So I stalled at that point not sure whether to put it back together or have the liners reset. I have been informed that the liner positions are good enough forcreassembly as is.

This is where it is at. In pieces in my garage with the rear out but pretty well everything there to get a good runner

New parts (Cost to me over $3k)include:

Engine: Head gasket with water pump, timing belt etc

Stepspeed drive plate: I bought the ford? one which is supposed to be better than the original. Cost about $500 landed

Stepspeed oil filter. A true unicorn which I know could be sold in the UK. I think I paid about $450

Stepspeed oil and engine oil

Brakes: New brake disks, caliper rebuild kits and braided hoses. Master cylinder bulkhead strengthener.

Suspension: upper front pivots from Mike Satur

Interior: New floor mats

Other:  I haven't recently looked at everthing but there are some other parts.

The car would need to be collected, so either put the subframe back up with wheels and move it or otherwise move it.

I don't have the energy to do anything material and am about to commence cancer treatment which all goingbwell will knock me out for at least 6 months.
