1963 MG MGB Mk I

MGB Mk 1 Australian assembled.

The car was bought in 2002 as a restoration project and completed in 2024.

Body work included sand blasting, rusted panels replaced and 2k paint.

New grill, bumpers and side strips.

Car includes hard top (not restored), soft top and tonneau cover both new.

The original engine was chemically cleaned, rebuilt including bored out to 40thou with new pistons, rings, bearings, crankshaft, cam and oil pump etc.

The head was machined to include hardened valve seats, new valves, seals.

Radiator was chemically cleaned and pressure tested.

Gearbox is a rebuilt Toyota Supra W58 5 speed.

The interior includes new seat foam and upholstery, carpet, door cards and and wrinkled finish painted dash.

Front springs are new with the rears springs reset.

Brakes have new lines both solid and flexible, master and and slave cylinder and front callipers.

Other new items include wiring harness, fuel tank, pump and fuel lines both solid and flexible, oil cooler, tyres and battery, exhaust and much more.

The car is on club plates so is sold without registration.
