1963 MG MGB Mk I

For Sale - 1963 MGB Mk 1 Project

I have owned and enjoyed driving this car since 2018. During this time I have made several improvements including:

- Engine and Gearbox professionally rebuilt and painted by Peter Moxham at Moxham Garages. Over $10k spent. Has done approx 2000km since rebuild. Can supply receipts of work completed. 

- Tourist Trophy Exhaust imported from Moss UK. $1k and new new SU Fuel Pump fitted.

- Carburettor rebuilt and addition of K&N air filters (Original air filters to come with the car)

- Brakes and suspension overhauled 

- Heater, Seals and Pipework added

- New door, bonnet and boot seals

- Additional parts including grill and front bumper, in excellent condition, sports and original steering wheel included.

The car was running very well mechanically before being stripped for a respray/restoration. Some general bodywork to the RHS castle rail and floor pans and a respray would be advised but you could put it back together as is and have a good running car at a bargain price or complete the bodywork and have the car of your dreams. Rego recently expired but does have pink slip.

All parts have been retained during the strip down. A shame to get this far in the project and not see it through but life has taken a different direction and unfortunately I am not in a position to complete it.
