Description
MGB L 1971 Mk2 Manual Overdrive Roadster. This past National MGB Award Runner up concourse car is finished in brilliant Zircon White offset by wire spoked chrome wheels. The B has covered 23,300 K (14,000 miles on a new Smith's odometer) since a full mechanical/body/interior trim rebuild and replacement. The lovely car can live for another 50 years -so good is the body and underbody. Recently attended to minor oil leaks have all been rectified with gasket and hose replacements. A British car without oil and fluid leaks?? It is indeed one of a select group!
The improvements to the car - without compromising its authenticity - include hardened head/valves for 98 octane unleaded; electronic ignition and SAAS sports steering wheel. The vehicle is currently on non transferable Club Permit Plates but for Victorians the original 1971 rego number and new number plate set may be made available. A complete detailed list of upgrades and accessories can be emailed to interested parties.
