I bought this sidelamp to use as a correct prewar period fuel tank mounted direction indicator on my MG TC, modern indicators often fitted on 80 year old cars just look wrong, but instead managed to find an original set of MGTC EXU indicator lights from one of the rare 300+ MG TC USA exports, so this prewar sidelamp is to be sold,Its not bad for its age ,the frosted glass lens is very good the body looks good and the red plastic King of the Road badge is present and intact there is a slight nick/dent in the chrome bezel but it does fit correctly [see photos]The internal bulb holder with spring is present as is remarkably the bulb. These sidelights were often used on prewar Austins and Jaguars reproductions are available but at great cost
This small sidelamp is app.50mm wide and 63mm long ,the size was the attraction to be used on the MG TC fuel tank side
