Wanted complete gearbox:
Black Label 4-speed overdrive gearbox in an MGB refers to the Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit, specifically the type used from 1968-1974, identified by a black label on the overdrive unit. These overdrives are designed for 4-synchro gearboxes and provide overdrive in both third and fourth gears, offering a 18% reduction in engine speed for a given road speed.
