Rebuilt Factory Original SU H4 Carburettors To Suit MGTF 1500 Made in 1954

I am offering a very rare set of completely rebuilt, matched set of factory original 1954 built, SU H4 carburettors especially matched, to suit an MGTF 1500.          They are factory originals with matched build dates.             These SU carburettors were manufactured and date stamped in 1954 specifically for the MG TF 1500.           They are a collectors item and would suit an MGTF owner wanting an exact original pair to complete a concourse quality MGTF 1500.

These matching SU H4 Carburettors have been totally rebuilt and feature all new parts.

They are ready to fit as pre-tuning settings have been done.

For your interest, these carburettors were totally stripped down and the major parts chemically cleaned, then glass beaded to provide a soft burnished look similar to the factory finish.

They are then assembled with all new parts, the old bushes reamed out and new standard size bushes fitted, along with new spindles, and butterfly discs etc. 

Original dashpots have been polished and dashpot/pistons are paired.        Totally rebuilt with all new parts, including, spindles, spindle bushes, jets, float bowl needles and seats and fuel levers, dashpot springs, dampers, throttle return springs, throttle levers, slow idle lever and choke levers as per images.             All new fixing bolts, nuts and fasteners in original brass screws etc, where appropriate.
