Offered for sale a fully restored MGA by Torrens road SA expert. It's a 1959 Mark 1 with worked MGB 1800 5 bearing engine, MGB 4 speed syncro gearbox with 2 speed electric overdrive (6 speed), MGB 10/43 differential, MGB disc front end and brakes. All new wheel bearings and seals, four new splined wheel hubs all round, 5 new 5 1/2" 72 spoke chrome tubeless wheels, 5 new Pirelli tyres, serial numbered hand made stainless steel brake lines, new rear wheel cylinders, springs, shoes and drums, new front calipers and rotors, vacuum brakes. New brake and clutch master cylinders and slave cylinder, line.

Reconditioned front end, all new bushes and bearings, new king pins, new steering rack, The engine, gearbox, overdrive and diff where reconditioned by a Torrens Road SA expert and his team, lumpy cam, big stainless steel valves etc, goes like a shower of shit, runs unleaded, electronic ignition, 12 volt alternator conversion, new coil, new battery and leads, aluminium radiator, thermo fan, 13 pound recovery system, sway bar, soft top hood, tonneau, hard top hood and side curtains, all in good condition.

It was restored, sills and painted and re powered in 2000, then in 2018 shipped it up from SA to Trade Street QLD expert, spending $14k to get it up to scratch. Bought and painted white a J & S Fiberglass hardtop hood at some further thousands to finish it off. Road or race says the builder, you choose. I have only ever driven it sedately around the Border ranges, but it has heaps of grunt, would be mad fun on the track. A drivers car not for the museum.
